Version 4 is intended to set new standards in channel management. Functions such as flexible pricing and an intuitive step-by-step wizard enable greater productivity.

 

The independently managed company from Freiburg im Breisgau focused on automation that saves time and regularly optimises processes when further developing its established software solution for the hotel industry. The completely revised version of Viato's Channel Manager now offers a solution that has been specially developed to meet the requirements of all hosts. Numerous innovations in the system are designed to sustainably improve work processes and thus strengthen the market position of businesses. Close collaboration with long-standing customers and the recording of continuous customer feedback has resulted in a powerful software that is particularly intuitive and user-friendly.

 

More than 500 of Viato's 1,600 customers are already using the new version and confirm the efficiency gains. "We are visibly saving time and even increasing our turnover. Functions such as channel splitting enable us to make more direct bookings at the optimum time. Manuals and tutorials are not necessary with Viato. If I still have a question, I can always reach the dedicated support team, which has extensive knowledge," reports Sonja Weichert, Reservations and Revenue Manager at JustStay GmbH.

With the introduction of the new version, manuals and tutorials have become obsolete, as an integrated user wizard guides users through the most important functions and simplifies processes considerably. "A lot has changed. The Viato team has obviously invested a lot of time and passion and has used the valuable feedback from long-standing customers to optimise the new version of the Channel Manager in the Viato Suite and successfully establish it on the market. Our loyal existing customers are the foundation of our success. They are not only witnesses to our development, but also our most important partners who constantly challenge us to become better. A central element of the new version is flexible pricing, which now enables hosts to manage prices in an even more targeted and user-friendly way. The function allows precise control and adjustment of prices. This in turn makes day-to-day hotel operations much easier and strengthens competitiveness.

Jennifer Emmerich, Reception Manager at the Eden Hotel Früh am Dom, confirms: "Many requests and suggestions from customer feedback have been taken into account in the new Channel Manager version. Functions have been simplified and optimised, which saves the team valuable working time. The new maintenance wizard in price management is particularly helpful and supports us in flexible pricing, especially for the numerous trade fairs and events in Cologne."

With version 4 of the Viato Channel Manager, hosts benefit from simplified price maintenance thanks to an intuitive step-by-step wizard and various calculation options. The new multi-property user management enables personalised user profiles and targeted rights management for teams and departments. For the first time, the WebStarter function also offers the option of creating your own website with an integrated Viato Booking Engine, which automatically displays the daily updated prices. New interfaces are also integrated with immediate effect - for seamless data integration.
