Backend Developer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Further development and maintenance of the backend logic of our web-based products
• Connection and maintenance of interfaces to relevant hotel portals such as Booking.com, Expedia and many more
• Efficient data processing and provision for the frontend - you ensure that information flows smoothly and efficiently
• Technical coordination within the development team - including coordination with colleagues working remotely
• Active co-design of our backend architecture and API strategy

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in backend development as well as completed and job-related training or a degree in computer science
• Very good knowledge of a server-side programming language for data processing (e.g. PHP, Python, Perl or comparable languages)
• Good to very good knowledge of MariaDB/ Galera databases. Yes, INDEX is not only in books.
• Passion for clean, well-structured code and efficient data structures
• At least basic knowledge of GIT/Gitlab
• Knowledge of Perl is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Very good knowledge of German and English
